Make 45° chamfer and bevel cuts with this chamfer Router bit. This bit will also create a 90° angle mitre joint. Can be used with stock up to 1/2" thick. Two flute carbide cutters and 1/2" shank. While chamfer bits are mostly used for edging, these bits can also be used to create mitre joints of various angles. Some of the available angle degrees are 11.25°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° & 45°. Cutting these angles into 2 adjoining pieces of wood will create mitre joints of 22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60° & 90° degrees respectively.
