While chamfer bits are mostly used for edging, these bits can also be used to create miter joints of various angles. Some of the available angle degrees are 11.25°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° & 45°. Cutting these angles into 2 adjoining pieces of wood will create miter joints of 22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60° & 90° degrees respectively.
