Product Description Basic P is a stable and specially adjusted phosphate mixture, for the targeted increase of the PO value in every marine and freshwater aquarium. Basic P effectively prevents phosphate limitation, which is dangerous for corals and plants, and sustainably increases their growth and health. Directions for use: Shake well before use! Dose 10 ml per 100 l of water to increase the PO value by 01 mg/l. Dosing can be done on a daily basis. Tips: Increase the phosphate level slowly and gently so that your corals and plants can adapt optimally. Make sure that the phosphate level never drops to 0 mg/l, as corals and plants need phosphate for healthy growth. Both nitrifying (ammonium/ammonia to nitrite to nitrate) and denitrifying (nitrate to nitrogen) bacteria absolutely need phosphate as a natural energy source, so a sufficient amount must always be available.
