The cage has multiple mounting points, including a Rosette, NATO Rail, Cold Shoe, 1/4″-20 Threads with Locating Pins, which provide plenty of options to mount your accessories. The NATO Top handle includes several mounting points including one cold shoe receiver which can be used to mount an external monitor via our Cold Shoe Accessory Mounting Bracket. Included in the kit is our new Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate which adds 15mm rod support and expands your options for mounting rod based accessories like follow focus motors or matte boxes. The new modular design features an ARCA receiver which makes swapping between a Ronin S Series Gimbal and this baseplate quick and simple. This ARCA adapter can also be removed, allowing you to mount other cages or camera systems directly via two 1/4″-20 screws. This baseplate is compatible with our Tilta Standard Dovetails and can accommodate a variety of quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads. The USB-C cable clamp included with the cage helps secure your cables, ensuring that they don’t come loose during use. This is especially useful when shooting video, as it ensures that your cables don’t accidentally disconnect and ruin your footage.
