★★★★★ Incredibly Vibrant & a Joy to Use! Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 September 2025 I’ve been using Ecoline Brush Pens for a couple of years now, and they remain one of my absolute favourite art supplies. If you're looking for vibrant, transparent colour that practically glows on the page, these are the pens for you. The first thing you'll notice is the ink – it's stunningly bright and flows beautifully. The brush nib itself is a dream to work with. It’s flexible and responsive, allowing you to switch from a very fine, delicate line to a broad, juicy stroke simply by adjusting your pressure. This makes them fantastic for both modern calligraphy and my main passion, illustration. They lay down colour smoothly and are perfect for filling in areas without any streakiness. What truly sets them apart is their blendability. They behave exactly like liquid watercolours. You can lay down two colours next to each other and seamlessly blend the edge with a water brush to create beautiful gradients. I often scribble a bit of ink onto a ceramic palette and use it like a traditional watercolour pan, which is great for creating lighter washes. Just a quick tip for anyone considering these for professional commissions: the ink is dye-based, which means it isn't lightfast and can fade if exposed to direct sunlight over a long period. This isn't a problem for me as I mainly work in sketchbooks or scan my artwork for prints, but it's something to keep in mind if you plan on selling original pieces. All in all, these are fantastic pens that offer incredible creative freedom. I've just stocked up on some beautiful oranges and deep reds for my autumn illustrations, and I can't wait to get started. Highly recommended for any artist, student, or hobbyist who loves working with brilliant colour.

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
