Product description
This infra red remote control signal extender cable is used to capture IR signals and pass them to hardware that is out of line of sight. Typically these are plugged into HDMI over Ethernet receivers that are located near TVs/displays and they receive the IR signals from the remote control being used in that room before transmitting that signal back to the matrix or switch and on to the TV sources (eg Sky box, CCTV, Virgin TV box) via an IR emitter.
