Product Description NOPO Control is a specially formulated solution of selected hydrocarbons, for the safe and optimal biodegradation of nitrate (NO3) and phosphate (PO4) in any marine or freshwater aquarium. NOPO Control maximizes the performance of the bacteria present in the aquarium, enabling efficient degradation of nitrate and phosphate even at high nutrient levels. NOPO Control creates a sustainably improved overall biology and serves as an additional source of energy for your corals, for maximum growth and more magnificent colors. Tips: For maximum effectiveness, we recommend using NOPO Control in conjunction with Special Blend. Maintain a minimum 48 hour interval between doses of both products. Check the nutrient levels in your aquarium regularly to prevent limiting. Make sure your PO4 level does not drop to 0, as it is absolutely needed by corals, plants and bacteria as an energy source and is essential for successful nitrate breakdown. In case of a bacterial bloom, we recommend the use of a UV-C clarifier. Dosage: Start with a daily addition of 2 ml per 100 liters of water and increase as needed to a maximum of 10 ml per 100 liters of water until a reduction in nutrient levels is measurable.
