- [FU 2.3Kฮฉ Potentiometer] โ The replacement variable resistor was made by Favor Union (FU). It fits analog joysticks made by FU. This 2.3K ohm version was found in some PS5 DualSense controllers
- [Compatibility] โ FU sensors come in two different resistance values. This 2.3K version was printed 2K3. Make sure the value is around 2.3Kฮฉ before ordering. (Be noticed: Choose 10Kฮฉ version for some PS3, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Hori, PDP, BDA (Power A) controllers if you found FU joysticks inside. The potentiometer in orange made by FU is not compatible with joysticks made by ALPS, while 60% of PS5 controllers use ALPS joysticks.)
- [Additional Resistor] โ Complicated moving mechanism and daily wear and tear finally caused drifting. Even new sensors cannot be 100% balanced. Calibrating in controller settings might not work. We packed 10x correction resistors to solve the potential problem in hardware level. Solder one or two paralleled tiny resistors onto the potentiometer at the opposite direction against drifting. It will help correct 3 to 5 degrees drifting
- [For most joystick problem] โ The potentiometer sensor needs to be replaced when the controller has the problem of creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone, or it wouldn't center after years of wear and tear. De-soldering the unit with only 3Pins will be a lot easier than replacing the entire joystick with as many as 14 prongs
- [Reminder of Replacement] โ Use a pair of pliers to separate the problem sensor off the joystick module. Try to replace the wiper first, see if it works. De-solder the sensor off the PCB. A metal pick helps to clear the holes. Soldering the new unit in is a breeze. Remember to calibrate the new control sticks in settings
Product description
FU 2.3K Potentiometer 8x OEM replacement variable resistor is made by Favor Union (FU). It fits analog joysticks from FU. This 2.3K ohm version has been found in some PS5 DualSense controllers 1. Solve most of the problems with the joystick: 80% chance of problems with the joystick was caused by the potentiometer. In other words, the rotary mechanism and tactile switches are not the problem. You can simply replace only the side potentiometer sensor to solve most of the joystick problems 2. Additional resistors included: A complicated movement mechanism and daily wear and tear can lead to drift, and even new potentiometers cannot be 100% balanced. Calibrating in the controller settings may not work. Solder one or more parallel resistors in the opposite direction against drift. Compatibility: 1.FU potentiometers do not work with ALPS joysticks 2.FU sensors have two different resistance values. This 2.3K version is 2K3 printed. Please make sure the resistance value is about 2.3K ohms before ordering. Choose a 10K version for some PS3, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Hori, PDP, BDA (Power A) controllers with FU joystick inside
