Another member of Dormer's range of rotary carbide burrs is the P811, manufactured from premium carbide for better performance and longer tool life at high speeds. The titanium aluminium nitride coating further extends the tool life and also boosts performance when being used for long periods at high speed. The Ball Nosed Tree shape (Shape F) with skip flute geometry improves efficiency when de-burring in slots or radius grooves. P811 rotary burrs have a hardened, toughened steel shank for extra rigidity and strength, to decrease vibration which further increases tool life, whilst the DC geometric design breaks chips more effectively, so improving control when used by hand.
