Product description Bartoline White Spirit is a top quality solvent refined to meet the requirements of BS 245 Type A. It is suitable for cleaning paint spills, brush cleaning and paint thinning. It is more suitable for paint thinning than other solvents, as it will not affect the drying time of oil-based paints. Directions Brush Cleaning When cleaning brushes use a non-plastic container such as a paint kettle or jar. Remove as much paint as possible using a cloth or newspaper. Dip the brush into Bartoline White Spirit and work in well, then rinse thoroughly with soapy water and dry with a clean cloth. Cleaning Paint Spills To clean up paint spills, test a small patch of textiles for suitability and colour fastness. Pour a quantity of white spirit onto a suitable cloth and wipe the surface until all paint has been removed. Paint Thinning Add White Spirit to paint as per paint manufacturer’s instructions.
