Product description A CHARGE OF BRIGHT STEEL! Gunpowder cannon transformed the battlefields of Europe in the late 15th and into the 16th century and then those battlefields were transformed again as matchlock and wheel-lock firearms could be fielded by infantry…and cavalry. Cavalry of the period was typically of two main types: the Demi-lancer and the Reiter. Both typically wore three-quarters plate armor specializing on the lance for the former and a combination of sword and pistol for the latter. This hard plastic box set allows you to build up to 12 riders equipped with sword, matchlock pistol, wheel-lock pistol, and lance. Optional armor pieces are included for the horses (or the horses can be used plain with the included saddles). A mix of hat and helmet types will expand their use to the battlefields of Europe in the 15th and 16th and into the 17th centuries. 8 War Dogs complete the box.
