Description The Vanguard VEO MT-12 is a horizontal bar that fits onto any tripod to allow you to add additional kit, or use it as a horizontal arm for those shots where a vertical central column doesn't quite deliver, such as shots of food. With the VEO MT-12 you can mount up to four items such as cameras, spotting scopes, lighting, binoculars, and more, all on one tripod. If you need to add more, and have the space, you can purchase an additional VEO+ MA1 Multi-Mount Adaptor to slot on. To get the best result, we would recommend you consider mounting your kit on a tripod head as this allows the maximum control, allowing you to aim your light, microphone or camera at just the right spot. Each end of the arm has a reversible 3/8” thread that can convert to a 1/4” thread, making it easy to attach any head (no heads included) to either end. Perfect for vertical shots. This kit also includes two VEO+ MA1 Multi-Mount Adaptors that slide onto the horizontal bar and a lever lock secures them firmly. To attach or release your head/kit, simply turn the wheel. These feature a 1/4" thread, but can be transformed to a 3/8" thread using one of the adaptors provided (though most heads will also include an adaptor). This arm itself attaches to your tripod quickly and easily, whether it's a 3/8" thread or a 1/4" thread (using one of the adaptors provided). The positioning of the horizontal bar can be shifted from left to right with ease, but just remember to ensure the tripod is balanced before you let it go. If you're pushing the bar out further on one side, we recommend that you ensure the extended length is over a leg from maximum stability. To stay safe on the go, you also get a premium carrying case.
