This electric heating element is designed for installation in selected domestic decorative and towel radiators. It is not necessarily suitable for use with other products. The element can be used as electric only or in a centrally heated system ( Dual Fuel ) to provide heating of the towel rail when the central heating system switched off (e.g during the summer). Protection device fitted inside the heater prevents over heating of the towel rail. The element should not be tested out of water. The element must only be fitted at the bottom of the radiator.The element must be fitted to the radiator before mounting the radiator on the wall. These heaters are suitable for use as stand alone electrically heated or with all Open Vented Central Heating Systems. If they are used with sealed central heating systems or combination boiler systems, it is essential that you establish that there is adequate allowance for expansion. The work must be done to the standard in the Wiring Regulations and you should consider having work checked by a competent electrician to ensure it is safe.
