In contrast to conventional solutions, the supply cable in this lamp attachment does not sag, so that the so-called "monkey swing" is avoided. Whether plastic cable or elegant textile cable, this surface-mounted cable holder is equally suitable for both, as long as the cable diameter is at most 7 mm. Details: Material: lacquered metal. Made in Denmark Installation instructions Installation on the ceiling is very straightforward: for wooden ceilings, a direct attachment of the wood screw in the ceiling is possible, for all other types of ceilings, it is recommended to use a suitable dowel (not included). Then insert the white cover disc onto the M3 threaded pin and then turn the cable duct into the designated hole of the wood screw. Now unscrew the small white thread attachment together with the rubber ring, pass the cable through the cable duct, the rubber ring and the small thread attachment. After correctly positioning the lamp and cable, slide the small thread attachment back over the rubber ring and then screw it firmly to the cable duct. For textile cables, the rubber ring cannot be used. Here, elsewhere, for example, at the place of the electrical connection in the ceiling, a suitable strain relief must be provided. In addition, these cables are recommended to wrap the open cable end tightly with adhesive tape before inserting into the cable duct.
