Product Description The Tamiya 24375 Mazda Savanna is the reissue of the 1981 24016 kit in an updated version. With the new kit, the C-parts, the decals, instructions and packaging have been changed. The Mazda Savanna RX-7 made its debut in 1978 and captivated with its sleek lines on its lightweight monocoque body with flat front and retractable headlights. A two-disc rolling motor produced 130 horsepower, and the front mid-motor arrangement allowed for optimal weight distribution, which was one of the secrets of its good driving. In 1980, Mazda made a minor model change to the RX-7, making the SE Limited the most luxurious of the four types offered. Comfort such as sunroof and leather shell seats have been complemented by aluminium rims. Thanks to the weight reduction of over 30 kg and the optimised front section, fuel consumption could be further improved.
