Product Description The Soarer was launched in February 1981 as Toyota's first luxury passenger car. Its sophisticated, powerful six-cylinder engine and luxurious features, which used state-of-the-art automotive electronics at large scale, attracted great popularity and attention. A VR Turbo was added to the Soarer in June 1981. Equipped with an in-line six-cylinder turbo engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle delivers 145 hp. With the help of the 4-wheel independent suspension, the Soarer is well suspended for the time and therefore achieves excellent driving performance.
