It is based on the original American wah-wah, but features a slightly different layout and notably different components. According to STOY, Screaming Foot generally has a better sound and works over a wider frequency range. Screaming Foot works not only for guitar, but also great for bass. It delivers excellent sound in both high and low frequencies and stands out clearly in both band contexts and in the mix. Placing your favorite fuzz or other distortion pedal in front of the Screaming Foot allows you to create the wildest overdrive wah-wah tones or the heavy "scratch" effects that Tom Morello is known for. In this setup, the Screaming Foot can also be used to control the feedback of your distortion.
