Schatz is the leading manufacturer of classic ships' Instruments, and one of very few that still make the mechanical chiming movements that were so familiar to the naval and merchant seaman of 100 years ago. The Schatz Midi barometer is calibrated in mill bars (metric units of pressure) and inches (mercury units of pressure). The intricate workmanship is protected in a stove-lacquered, solid Brass case with a thick glass port, secured by Brass scuttle clamps. Measures: case diameter 16 cm, face diameter 10 cm, Depth 7 cm.
