Samyang's AF 12mm F2 E lens is a compact, autofocus, super-wide-angle lens, optimised and ideally matched to Sony crop-sensor APS-C E-Mount mirrorless cameras. It offers the perfect solution for Astrophotography, Landscape and Indoor shooting, with a fast F/2.0 maximum aperture and a 99.1° angle of view. Even wide-open at its F/2.0 maximum aperture, the AF 12mm F2.0 E delivers superb image quality from centre to edge, during the daytime or at night. The elegant design, with 'hidden' red ring is compact and lightweight; measuring 70mm in diameter, 59.2mm long and weighing in at just 213g. A new linear stepping-motor delivers fast, quiet and accurate autofocus, with a close focus distance of just 19cm. There is a 62mm front thread for convenient use of filters and advanced weather sealing, with rear glass protection allows shooting to continue in less than ideal weather conditions.
