• Allows a PCIe 1x, 2x or 4x card to be mounted in an E, A or E+A Key slot.
• Be sure to check beforehand whether the E/A key port on your motherboard can accept any peripheral or not (some older motherboards will only accept a wifi or Bluetooth type card on this type of port).
• This riser is for PCIe M Key M2 SSDs only (NVMe or AHCI). The internal part fits into the M2 E, A or E+A Key slot. It is in 2230 format and will therefore fit all formats (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, 22110), and has the E+A Key.
• The external part has a 4x PCIe connector. The two parts are connected by a 20cm flexible shielded cable.
• For PCIe Gen 3.0: does not affect M2 port performance or type (PCIe Gen 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 etc.)

Be careful to check before whether the I/O key port of your motherboard can accept any device or not (some old motherboards will only accept a wifi or bluetooth type card on this type of port). The two parts are connected by a flexible armoured tablecloth measuring 20 cm. For PCIe Gen 3.0: does not affect the performance of the M2 port or its type (PCIe Gen 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 etc...). Power recovery on PCIe plate via floppy connector (SATA 15 point / floppy adapter included). Supplied with screwdriver and screws to attach the M2 E A Key part to the dedicated slot.
