Carboxide Red Oxide Primer is a traditional (lead free) solvent based, air drying primer. It creates a smooth, protective surface to your metal. This means it is easy for you apply your top coat without too much sanding. Use it on ferrous metal surfaces. With its rust inhibiting properties and because it is touch dry in 3 hours, Carboxide red oxide primer is a great, practical choice for steel and iron surfaces.
