Product description This value kit is ideal for beginners to hobby casting. These are Napoleonic soldiers from the start of the 19th Century during the time of the Battle of Waterloo. This mould allows you to cast three different 25mm fully round figures. No assembly is required. Grenadiers were the elite of the army, recruited from the tallest and bravest soldiers. Contents: A mould. Metal ladle. 2 Metal Clamps 2 Support Boards 1 Bar of '6 Star' Metal (Tin/Bismuth alloy) Release Powder Flat sided Snippers for removal of ingates from casting Wooden Stirrer Stick Metal File '6 Star' Metal melts at 148°C (298°F), Cast at 300-320°C. Non-Toxic. The process for casting is simple: Melt metal in the ladle, Assemble the mould as instructed. Pour the liquid metal into the mould. Wait for about 3 minutes for the metal to cool. Unassemble the mould and carefully remove the figures. Trim off the excess in-gates with the snipper supplied. Remelt the waste metal. Assemble the figure with superglue. Prime and paint the figure as you would any metal figure Never cool metal with water. Always warm the mould gently to make sure its dry by placing it near a heat source for a short time.
