Take a piece of dental floss about 18 inches. 2. Wrap it around your middle finger, leaving about 2 inches between your thumbs and forefingers. 3. Hold the floss firmly between your thumb and forefinger. 4. Gently insert the thread between your teeth, being careful not to snag it into the gums. 5. Run the thread back and forth along the sides of each tooth, including below the gum line. 6. Repeat this process for all teeth, using a clean section of thread for each tooth.
