The Palmer BRIDGE 4P is a 4-channel passive DI box in 19’ rack format, equipped with top-of-the-range audio transformers that accept high signal levels without distortion or loss of sound quality on your instrument. Each channel is equipped with a 6.35 mm jack input, a THRU return (for routing input signals to an amplifier, for example) and two transformer-balanced XLR outputs: one at the front and one at the rear. With a transformation ratio of 10:1, the transformers provide optimum impedance and level matching, allowing signals from a guitar, bass, keyboard or synthesiser to be connected to a balanced microphone input. At the same time, galvanic isolation prevents hum and buzz caused by ground loops, so the signal remains pure, clear and with a very low noise floor, free from interference. Thanks to a switchable 30 dB pre-attenuation, the BRIDGE 4P accepts extremely high input levels, above line level: it can therefore be inserted, for example, between an amplifier output and the loudspeakers. The Audio-Over-Cat output allows the signals from all 4 channels to be transported via a single Cat cable (Cat5e or higher). This saves equipment, space and time.
