With our TMT-RHB-32SGATC refractometer, you can determine the sugar content in the liquid to be measured. In contrast to a beer spindle/sucroometer/hydrometer, a few drops (2-3) are sufficient for this measurement. The measurement using a refractometer finds more and more followers due to the simple and fast measurement. With its integrated automatic temperature compensation system (ATC), the handheld refractometer offers maximum precision and ease of use. The device is equipped with a sturdy metal housing and a plastic-coated handle. The TMT-RHB-32GATC is specially designed for brewing beer. Application example measurement: Before each measuring process, you should carefully clean the hinged lid and prism and then let it dry. Then add 2-3 drops of the sample to the prism, when closing the hinged lid, the sample is evenly distributed between the lid and the prism. The sample can be applied to the main prism with the pipette. It is important to ensure that no air bubbles form. This would negatively affect the measurement result. By gently moving the hinged lid, the sample fluid can be distributed evenly. Now hold the refractometer against bright daylight to see the scale through the eyepiece. The desired value can now be read directly. Please clean and dry the device carefully after each measurement process so that there is no deposit on the prism and lid.
