Product Description Extremo f1 carrot seed by Mr. Fothergill's. High quality crops grow over winter. Carrot Extremo F1 is a high quality Nantes x Kuroda hybrid variety with excellent flavoured roots with resistance to splitting. A good source of vitamin C and antioxidants. Useful Information: Vitamin C Sow and Grow: Sow outdoors thinly where they are to crop, 1.5 cm (1/2-inch) deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Allow 30 cm (1 feet) between rows. Early sowings may benefit from cloche protection. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly from the row, allowing remainder to grow on. Water well until plants are established. Regular sowings made every three weeks will ensure a continuous supply of young roots. Hints and Tips: If carrot fly is a problem, delay sowing until May. Keep well watered during dry spells.
