THE TW Distortion Pedal are close to a 5150 – so you know… With a solid three-band EQ (you can pull out those mids without it sniffing out the lows and highs like so many other pedals) you can emulate some of your favorite high gain tones – but because this pedal is so versatile, it's easy to find your own distinctive tone. There are two different voices in the TW, Hard and Brutal. The Hard gives you that warmer punch and high gain, while the Brutal sneaks in a little more shine, giving it that newer, fuller audio spectrum. Well, we've already built in plenty of boost, maybe more than you need, so let's add a boost switch. What? It might sound crazy to add a boost switch to an already high gain pedal, but you'll be amazed at how well it works. It gives you two options via the Boost Contour blend control. With the boost on and turned counter-clockwise, your distortion will be multiplied and you'll have that solo tone you've always wanted. Pinch harmonics are just there, in places you've never found them before. Turning it clockwise turns your pedal into a fuzzy monster... Twist the EQ and you can get a tone that will remind you of the Smashing Pumpkins, right down to a fuzzy solo tone in the Kind of Pink Floyd. It's all there, waiting for you.
