Product Description The Mooncup is a reusable menstrual cup around two inches long and made from soft silicone rubber. Wears internally as a tampon but recovers menstrual flows rather than absorbing them. A light seal is formed with your vaginal walls and your menstrual flows allowing you to pass into the Mooncup without leakage or odor. The Mooncup Menstrual Cup does not contain bleaches, deodorizers or absorbent gels. It does not interfere with your healthy vaginal environment, nor has it been associated with toxic shock syndrome. The smooth surface of the Mooncup allows the mucous membranes of your vaginal wall to continue their major cleansing and protective functions. Mooncup does not absorb the body's natural defense mechanisms and will not make fiber deposits in your vaginal wall. Ingredients Silicone Directions 1. Wash your hands before handling the Mooncup. 2. Fold the Mooncup and insert it into the vagina, pointing it towards the tailbone. 3. Once inserted, release the Mooncup and allow it to spring open. 4. Check for a seal by gently tugging on the stem. If there's no leakage, the Mooncup is positioned correctly. 5. Leave the Mooncup in for up to 8 hours during light flow and up to 4-5 hours during heavy flow. 6. To remove, wash hands, pull on the stem to release the seal, and pinch the base of the Mooncup to remove it. 7. Empty the contents into the toilet, rinse the Mooncup with water, and reinsert if necessary. 8. After each cycle, clean the Mooncup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes or using a menstrual cup cleanser. 9. Store the Mooncup in its own storage bag when not in use.
