Product Description Whether young or old, egg dyeing is part of a traditional Easter. This set from Metma contains the 5 colours yellow, purple, red, blue and green. You will also receive a shellac, a glove and a foil for the gold effect. How it works: Boil eggs in salt water and keep warm in cooking water. Cut the paint pipettes with scissors. Fill one container for each colour with 150 ml of hot water (approx. 60°C) and about 2 to 3 tablespoons of vinegar. Take the eggs out of the boiling water with a spoon and dip them into the corresponding dye bath. Depending on the desired colour intensity, dyeing takes about 4 to 6 minutes. Then take out the eggs to dry. To avoid small moisture spots of the eggs, you can gently pat them dry with a kitchen paper. Put on the gloves and apply the shellac evenly to the egg with a brush. Then you can press the metal foil onto the egg with the matte side and spread it 2 to 3 times. Peel off the film after a short period of drying. You can repeat this process until the desired result is achieved. The film can be used frequently until the metal layer has been completely removed from the paper.
