The MCE468 sensor is ideal for use in the garden, around the house or terrace, at the gate, in passageways, hallways, basements, warehouses, garages, and other places that require lighting or other devices to be turned on when motion is detected. The sensor identifies day and night (twilight sensor), turning on and off depending on the appearance of an object in the detection range. The 180° angle of detection and sensing distance of up to 12 meters enable effective monitoring of a wide area. The main purpose of the presented sensor is automatic lighting control, but other electrical appliances (e.g., electric heating, air conditioning, etc.) can also be connected to it, as long as the energy receiver does not load the switch with a power exceeding 1200 W (resistive load) or 600 W (inductive load).
