The Lindy HDMI ARC Audio Downmix Decoder is an ideal solution for converting an optical digital audio signal to analogue stereo audio, for a high quality audio experience of movies, music and games. Effortlessly adjust TV sound and speaker sound synchronously with CEC passthrough allowing you to increase or decreases the TV volume with your regular remote. The separate micro-USB port is used for power, via connection to a source devices USB port, avoiding the need for a separate PSU. The converter’s Dolby® Digital Decoder function ensures that Dolby® Digital audio signals are down-mixed to analogue stereo without any compression or loss in audio quality, and with support for PCM sample rates up to 192kHz and Dolby digital sample rates up to 48kHz, music and movies can be heard how the artist and sound engineers intended, with greater detail and clarity. Featuring flexible operation between all audio formats, and status LEDs, to indicate a Dolby Digital encoded audio source or for power, ensures simple, fuss-free installation and use.
