THESE ARE FOR ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE AND NOT AN APPLICATION IN SOUND PROOFING / SOUND DEADENING The material used is a reliable tried and tested recycled polyester fibre that will last the test of time unlike cheaper alternatives. This board has been tested and approved by the Acoustic Testing Laboratory College of Science & Technology at The University of Salford. The rating is BS EN ISO 354:2003, Acoustics – Measurement of Sound Absorption in a Reverberation Room. The Mass per unit of this board is 1.6 kg/m2. These panels are perfect for recording studios, offices, school halls, churches and music halls. More recently these panels have had a huge applications in the domestic market, proving massively popular with musicians setting up their own home studios, podcasters, YouTubers and streamers. It must be noted that these panels are FULLY Fire Rated to ‘BS EN ISO 13501 1 Class B’ standards. To meet legislation these can be mounted in corridors unlike other non-fire rated cheaper imitations.
