The 2mm thick double sided foam tape in black is ideal for indoor mounting. Especially when bonding dark workpieces, it is significantly more discreet than white foam tape. Features: Thanks to the double-sided application of rubber adhesive, the foam tape has a very strong instant adhesion (tack). It adheres not only to smooth, but also to roughened and rough surfaces. The carrier material is PE (polyethylene) foam, which adapts to most surfaces and has a shock absorbent. Areas of application: The black double-sided foam tape is suitable for a large number of applications, as well as the ordinary white foam tape. These include a wide range of mountings, e.g. workpieces together or on the wall, in private and commercial areas. The dark colour offers the advantage that the tape is barely visible on and between dark surfaces. The double-sided foam tape is preferably used indoors. It is designed for permanent bonding. Shelf life: Approx. 12 months after receipt in normal storage conditions (20°C, 50% rel. humidity). Note on processing: Ideally leave the adhesive 24 hours before sticking the second workpiece so that the full adhesive strength can unfold.
