Product Description Johnsons Guardian Plus Spot On for Small Dogs over 20kg and under 40kg is a veterinary strength spot-on treatment providing triple action protection. It kills fleas for up to eight weeks, controls ticks for up to four weeks, and treats lice infestations. The advanced formula with fipronil and S-methoprene prevents flea eggs and larvae from developing, helping break the flea life cycle and prevent re-infestation. Easy to apply with a single pipette at the base of the neck. Suitable for dogs between 20kg and 40kg and above 8 weeks old. Not for use on rabbits, dogs under 20kg, or sick animals. Directions Read the package leaflet carefully before each use. Keep the leaflet and any unopened sachets in the carton until required. External use only, topical spot-on application to the skin. Hold the pipette in an upright position. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure the contents remain within the main body of the pipette. Snap back the tip of the pipette. Part the coat on the back of the animal at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin in one spot. Safety Warning It is important to make sure that the product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick it off and to make sure that the animals do not lick each other following treatment. Always leave a minimum period of 4 weeks between treatments. Temporary changes to the coat (clumped/greasy hair) may be noted at the application site. Do not store above 30°C. Store in the original package. Contraindications: Do not use on kittens less than 8 weeks old and/or weighing less than 1kg. Do not use on sick or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits, as adverse drug reactions, including death, could occur. Do not use in known cases of hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active substances (Fipronil or (S) Methoprene) ort to any of the excipients (ingredients). product can cause mucous membrane, skin and eye irritation. Avoid getting the product on your skin or in your mouth or eyes. If the product gets into your eyes, immediately rinse the eyes with clean water. People with a known hypersensitivity (allergy) to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact with the product. Avoid contents coming into contact with the fingers. If this occurs, wash hands with soap and water. Treated animals should not be handled or played with until the application site is dry. It is therefore recommended that animals are not treated during the day, but should be treated during the early evening, and that recently treated animals are not allowed to sleep with the owners, especially children. Keep stored pipettes in the original packaging until ready to use. In order to prevent children from getting access to used pipettes, dispose of used pipettes immediately. Discard any open pipettes. Do not smoke, drink, or eat during application. Wash hands after use. For animal treatment only. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Special precautions for the disposal of unused products or waste materials if any. Dispose of waste material in accordance with local requirements. Fipronil and (S)-Methoprene should not enter water courses as this may be dangerous for fish and other aquatic organisms.
