By fitting a set of hedgehogs on your wheels, the weight Is displaced across the tyres. As a fairway protector they are perfect, eliminating any damage that a standard trolley wheel would leave, meaning you leave no impression on your course and avoiding the necessity for winter trolley bans. Rather than imposing a full trolley ban during the winter, many clubs are now using a 'restricted' trolley ban, where pull trolleys fitted with Hedgehog fairway protectors can be used. The parabolic studs of the Hedgehog Fairway Protector reduce contact with the soil surface by over 75% and glide over the surface leaving little or no impression and therefore inflict little or no damage.
