Gyokucho Razor Saws, The Original Interchangeable Blade Japanese Saws, Have Long Been Known For Their Cutting Efficiency And Excellent Durability. The Latest Generation Of Gyokucho Saws Have Blue Handles Made Of Tpe Thermoplastic Elastomer , A Remarkable Material That Is At Once Hard And Resilient, But Velvety To The Touch And Offers An Excellent Grip. The Gyokucho 374 Is A Professional Dozuki Pruning Saw, A Precise Saw With A Very Thin Plate And Fulllength Back, Used For Similar Tasks To A Western Carcass Saw Cutting Components To Final Length, Defining The Shoulders Of Half Rounds, Casings, Etc. Identical To The 376 In All Aspects Except The Depth Of The Plate, Which Gives This Saw A Little More Cutting Depth, Possibly At The Expense Of Some Maneuverability. The Blades Of The Gyokucho Saws Are Nickel Plated Using A Process Called Electroless Nickel Plated, Which Has Three Functions. Firstly, It Protects The Blade From Corrosion, Secondly, It Provides A Nice Shiny Mirror Finish So You Can Measure Your Cutting Angles, And Thirdly, Its Low Friction Properties Prevent Resins And Sap From The Blade Anything That Manages To Stick To It Can Be Easily Washed Off With Warm Soapy Water.
