Solid wood stylus with ball tip and steel base. Following the great success of the Ethergraf version we have created the ink model. In the early 16th century Leonardo devoted attention to the study of flight and the design of a flying machine. He thought of producing a treatise on flight divided into four chapters, which was never completed but, in the early months of 1505, he wrote part of the Code on the Flight of Birds, kept at the Royal Library of Turin, in which he proposed to understand the secret of flight. The reflection on these texts left by Leonardo led to the creation of Piuma, a writing instrument made entirely of wood, with a dynamic shape, which refers to the goose pen and to the studies of flight. Piuma rests in constant balance on its center of gravity thanks to the mirrored steel pedestal through which the mirror signature of the master is reflected.
