This innovative device is designed to meet the requirements of sport climbers, multi-pitch climbers and rope access technicians. Features & Benefits Wide Application The PINCH is versatile and offers securing options for sport climbing, multi-pitch and rope access technology. Unique design: the device can be hung directly into the central ring of the climbing harness, which allows for close positioning. This facilitates rope dispensing as the device does not need to be fixed and easy handling is guaranteed. Improved Span The compact design allows for increased span, which allows the securing person to spend 20-30cm more rope at a time. Reduced rope crank: The linear rope course through frontal brake grooves made of steel minimises rope tangle when draining and abseiling. Controlled brake cable control: the speed when draining can be controlled by both the release lever and the pressure of the brake hand. This is particularly beneficial with thin, soft ropes and allows precise brake cable control. Anti-panic function: the integrated anti-panic function provides additional safety, especially for beginners. It prevents uncontrolled draining and can be disabled if necessary. Second brake level: An integrated second brake stage allows controlled release of particularly light people or in systems with high rope friction by pulling the drain lever further. For dynamic ropes: suitable for ropes from 8.5 to 10.5 mm diameter. For static ropes: suitable for ropes from 10.0 to 10.5 mm diameter (120 kg). Weight: 234 g
