The Dynavox VC150 record clamp is a practical alternative to the stabiliser. It does not work with its own weight compared to the stabiliser, but with a practical clamping mechanism. It improves the sound by preventing the record from slipping during the playing process and reducing unwanted resonances. In addition, thanks to the better stability of the LP, it increases its life and that of the scanning needle. Due to its low weight, the plate clamp is more gentle on sensitive plate bearings, better for simultaneous running and is ideal for subchassis players. The clamping device is made of anodised aluminium at the top and the construction material is polyoxymethylene, which is preferred as a construction material, e.g. for precision parts of precision engineering.
