Another member of Dormer's range of rotary carbide burrs is the P701, with ST geometry for maximum material removal when de-burring steels. The burrs are designed for general plain surface de-burring as they are Shape A – cylinder without end cut. They are manufactured from premium carbide material and will give great performance and longer tool life at high speeds, whilst the toughened, hardened steel shank gives better strength and rigidity, making sure vibration is kept to a minimum and so further extending tool life. P701 carbide burrs will give clean de-burring results thanks to the bright finish which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool.
