- FAILTE is Irish Gaelic for Welcome! Make your own concrete garden stones or plaques with this REUSABLE mould. Your finished casts will measure appox. 19cm x 11.5cm and they will be approx. 1.8cm deep.
- The mould is made from thick semi-rigid ABS plastic which can be used over and over again. Simply wash in warm soapy water (NOT dishwasher proof!) after each use and it will last for years.
- Your casts will pop out of the mould easily, but if you like you could rub a TINY amount of normal kitchen vegetable oil on the inside of the mould before pouring in your concrete mix to facilitate demoulding.
- If you're new to concrete casting, some common mixes you could try are: 4 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement, OR 2 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement, OR 3 parts mixed gravel and sand to 1 part cement.
- Make garden stones or plaques for yourself or to sell on. These are really popular at markets or car boots.
