- Can make any metal objects quickly heated to the desired temperature, including its melting point.Heat can be generated directly in the metal, instead of by an external heat source via heat conduction.There need not be any external contact, which can be important where contamination is an issue.
- Induction heating is the process of heating an electrically conducting object, usually a metal, by electromagnetic induction, through heat generated in the object by eddy currents. An induction heater consists of an electronic oscillator that passes a high-frequency alternating current through the electromagnet. The rapidly alternating magnetic field penetrates the object, generating electric currents inside the conductor called eddy currents and generating heat.
- Only direct heating a steel material ( the magnet can be adsorbed material). Gold, silver, copper, aluminum can not be directly heated, need to match the graphite crucible melting.Work brass heating will need to use a lot of water circulation cooling. Without water circulating cooling are possible, but will burn into a black brass, it will not be much affected.Please notice the place of anode and cathode, incorrect way of installation would cause smell of burning.
- Could melt refractory metals which require very high temperatures.Comes with a fan and a transparent hose for the purpose of enhancing heat dissipation.
- This item don`t provide the power supply, buyer need to find a 24V to 36V DC power supply, (Not less than 350W. More than 15A without losing voltage).If power by storage battery, must add a ampere meter for supervision, and to see if the input current is in the normal range(under 20A).Use for DIY small parts made of steel hardening, annealing below the melting point of 1100 metal smelting, DIY small cooker and so on.
