It was designed as a response to the successes of the Soviet T-34 tanks and American Shermans. The Tiger I was known for its very thick armored shield, which provided excellent protection against enemy shells. The Tiger in the late Ausf. E version has been reproduced with attention to detail in a modeling scale of 1:28. It has movable elements like a turret and a gun barrel, as well as rotating wheels and tracks. It is distinguished from the other Tigers in our collection by the wheels, suspension and colors characteristic of this version from the final period of the war. The elaborate set consists of 1207 elements and faithfully reflects the original shapes of its historical inspiration.
