This pen style 30mW VFL is an efficient and robust tool for fibre tracing and testing, it can be used to check fibre routing, finding break points, poor connections, bending or cracking in fibre optic cables and high attenuation. It operates in 2 modes, either in constant wave mode or pulsed mode. In either mode the output power is 30mW for reaching distances of up to 30Km depending on the fibre characteristics.
