Billy Madison (Adam Sandler) has an easy life as heir to his millionaire father's hotel empire, until his dad decides to turn over the company to vice president Eric Gordon. Billy bets his father that if he goes back to school he can attain grades 1 to 12 in 24 weeks. No mean feat, as Billy has spent the ten years since he left high school lazing by the pool and chasing women. When he falls for his new teacher, however, he attends to his studies with renewed vigour.
