The bigger of the value means that the content of impurities is larger; conversely, the content of impurities is small. The factors that affect the test value of TDS: the temperature of water (the TDS-3 tester cannot test the water with high temperature such as, boiled water). The flow velocity of water (the TDS-3 tester cannot be applied to test the flowing water) If the tester displays a flashing “X10” icon, multiply the reading by 10. Please don't drop the entire TDS meter in the water or dip beyond the maximum immersion level. How to Use: STEP 1: Remove the protective cap and turn the TDS Meter on. STEP 2: Immersing the meter into the water or solution up to the maximum immersion level. The height of solution should not exceed 4cm(from the pen point). STEP 2: Pour the pen gently in the water. Waiting for the reading to be stable. The measurement values of TDS meter was influenced by temperature much. So it needs time to correct the readings.
