They are made of bamboo & organic cotton (70% bamboo fibre and 30% organic cotton - you can't get 100% bamboo, see below) which is a natural absorbent that can hold up to six times its weight in liquid. This makes it a great material for reusable nappies as it means they can be used for longer periods of time without the need for washing. Bellissimo Baby's super absorbant 4 layers bamboo insert gives enhanced protection for your reusable nappy, not only is bamboo a great absorbant compared to the basic microfibre inserts but this insert has 4 layers giving amazing absorbant for just one insert.
