- VERSATILE AND EASY TO USE: Apply chosen compound onto the leather. Most customers use Green or White compound. But you might prefer coarser or finer grit. You can also leave smooth side free of the compound for really ultra-fine touch-ups. Always strop after finishing sharpening on your finest stone by pulling blade backwards with low pressure. It is important to keep the same (or a little bit shallower) angle you sharpen at
- EXTRA LARGE: Bacher system stones and system strops are larger than cheap Chinese fixed-angle stones. They are made in specs to the international industry standard for premium sharpening systems like Apex. Stone dimensions: 5.95” x 1” x 0.2” (150mm x 25mm x 5mm). Hard-Anodized Aluminium Base Dimensions 6.3” x 1” x 0.16” (160mm x 25mm x 4mm). Large stones last longer and make sharpening faster
- SPECIAL HONING COMPOUNDS: 4 grits of special Bacher honing compound are included. Soft and easy to apply, designed to be used especially on leather honing belts and strops. 7g (1/4 oz) each. Approximately grain: Red 2000 (medium), White 5000 (fine), Green 8000 (very-fine), Black 12000 (ultra-fine)
