Enhance your flooring with our high-quality professional Aluminium 40mm door threshold. This versatile threshold is adjustable in height and can tilt to accommodate different floor levels. It comes with both small and large clips to suit various flooring heights. This threshold provides a seamless finish for any type of flooring. It is ideal for joining carpet to wood, laminate, tile, and other floor types. These profiles can be easily cut to size using a hacksaw and can be secured to wood or concrete subfloors with nails or screws. Please refer to the technical drawings to see the various height options available for this profile. Installation Ensure that the cover is wide enough to bridge the gap between the two floor coverings. Secure the Aluminium base using contact adhesive or mechanical fixings. Slide the appropriate sized clips onto the cover, positioning them 2-3cm from either end and spacing the remainder evenly. Align the clips with the base and apply even pressure to lower the clips into the channel. Once secure, use a rubber mallet to achieve the final position. Maximum height difference between floors is 24mm. Covers flooring at the same level from 9mm to 20mm in height. Suitable for joining carpet and other flooring types. Easy Clip Easy Fit System. Screws are required for fitting. Dimensions: 920mm x 40mm Top tip: If you’re finding the clips a bit tricky to push in, try tapping a red clip in upside down with a rubber mallet, then remove it. This gently widens the slot, making it easier to push the profile with the clips into place, as shown in the instructions.
