Product Description From an excellent pedigree of fans for over 40 years comes the next generation of fans - LOOVENT eco. A powerful, discreetly styled fan in a modular design for ease of installation and maintenance to ensure effective ventilation with minimal noise level and energy efficiency in mind. For a centrifugal fan it is exceptionally quiet, there are various control options in the range - timer, humidity timer and motion sensor with timer. There is also Low Voltage options available in the Timer and Humidity Timer versions and a range of continuous running versions that meet the SAP Q building requirements. The Low Voltage Range has a separate transformer should there be a requirement. This Humidity Timer Version LOOVENT eco allows you to set the run on timer between 2 and 45 minutes, it allows you to select a delay start of two minutes allowing quick visits without fan activation. The fan can be triggered remotely by means of a "switched live" connection from a light or door switch. It also has a momentary pull-cord switch as a manual "boost" override for the second speed, if you are not already using it as your standard speed selection, built in. The humidity sensor is adjustable, although the factory setting should be ok. When the fan is activated by the humidity sensor it will run at the top speed until the moisture level has dropped below the set level on the fan. The LOOVENT eco is ideal for applications where the ducting runs are long, its centrifugal impeller means that it can move air over longer distance when met with pressure resistance from ducting. The low energy motor helps reduce carbon emissions and saves on energy bills as well as meeting the current Building Regulations. The LOOVENT eco is truly versatile in that it can be surface or recessed mounted into the wall or ceiling and can be fitted in either the portrait or landscape position. LOOVENT eco is ideal for replacing the old style LOOVENTS'S as the spigot position is identical and the back plates are the same size keeping reworking to a minimum. An extractor fans location in a room is important for it to perform; it ideally needs to be the furthest point away from where the replacement air will enter the ensuite, bathroom, utility or kitchen. In most cases the replacement air comes in under the door of the room, important that the undercut on the door meets the Building Regulations for air to flow in. The fan has an ingress protection rating of IPx5 and is suitable for mounting in Zone 1 or 2 with a 30mA RCD as defined in Section 701 BS7161:2008 (IEEE Wiring Regulations, Seventeenth Edition). The LOOVENT eco also complies with the latest Building Regulations, Approved Document F (Part L). LOOVENT eco requires a 100/240V-50/60Hz single phase supply. Class II equipment. BS EN 60417. An external 3A fuse is required for each fan unit. The product is fully compliant with the following safety standards: CE2004/105//EMC Directives and LVD 2006 195/EC.
